Given the state of New York’s government, economy and voter disposition, this is the most important election year for New Yorkers in generations.   On Tuesday November 2, 2010 voters will cast ballots for every statewide office, as well as for every Member of Congress and every member of the State Legislature.  The stakes couldn’t be higher for two reasons:  With a 60-billion dollar budget deficit forecast for over the next five years, whoever wins the statewide races will have the power to write the next chapter of New York State history.  And the struggle for party dominance in the narrowly controlled State Senate will provide the winner with the ability to draw the lines for legislative districts for the next ten years.  It's an epic battle for New York State.   Political analyst & WCNY Capitol Correspondent Susan Arbetter will join us with a look back at session highlights, and a look forward to November.
